After the first two weeks of conference play it is Kennesaw State that leads the the way in the SCRC Division One. Kentucky are just behind them having played a game less. In Division Two Middle Tenneessee State took top spot while Memphis currently stand in second place.

Week One saw Kennesaw State travel to Tennessee and emerge with a fine 29-19 victory in the only DI fame of the weekend. The following weekend KSU was on the road again, this time at South Carolina, again winning 50-7 to open their season undefeated after two games. Kentucky played host to Alabama as they opened their season with a strong 40-12 win over a highly fancied Crimson Tide team. On Week Three Kentucky travels to Georgia while South Carolina will visit Knoxville to take on the Volunteers in an early pressure game. The loser of that game could be in danger of finishing in the bottom two in the division by the end of the season. Kennesaw State and Alabama both have bye weeks.
In Division Two Middle Tennessee State was handed a 21-0 win after Ole Miss failed to travel and had to forfeit the game last weekend. Memphis had played host to Georgia Tech and held off the Yellow Jackets in a tense 19-17 game the previous week. Those are the only two games with results so far in the division. This week Auburn travels to Middle Tennessee State while Georgia Tech is on the road again, this time at Mississippi State. Ole Miss and Memphis have bye weeks.
