ALABAMA HOSTS HUGE GAME

Alabama will host Tennessee in a rare Friday night matchup in SCRC Division One tomorrow evening. The game is big for the clubs as both stand at 1-1 in the conference. Essentially the loser would be on the outside looking in for the SCRC Championship Game in November.

Last weekend saw just the one game in Division One with Georgia visiting South Carolina in a clash at the bottom of the table. The Gamecocks ran out winners with a 43-3 scoreline. The result has probably secured the Wooden Spoon for the Bulldogs unless they can cause a major upset in their remaining games.

It was a similar affair in Division Two as Mississippi State was able to pull off a fine 39-33 victory over hosts, Ole Miss. The loss leaves the Rebels at the bottom of the table with two games left in their schedule.

Besides the Alabama v Tennessee clash this weekend league leaders, Kennesaw State take on Georgia at home. In Division Two unbeaten Memphis travel to Auburn while Ole Miss is on the road at Georgia Tech.

Middle Tennessee State will be in Lexington, Kentucky to face the Wildcats as part two of a double header in a “crossover” match. Kentucky face a strong Lindenwood-Belleville side in the first game.
