Kentucky hosts a double header as both Lindenwood-Belleville and Middle Tennessee State come to town.
The Wildcats played both these teams last fall, splitting the games with a home loss to the Lynx and an away win at MTSU.

Lindenwood-Belleville bested the Wildcats by a score of 33-5 last season but the game was much closer than the score suggests. After being tied 0-0 at halftime Kentucky scored first to take a 5-0 lead but the Lynx put on a show down the stretch to run out victorious. Both teams made it to the National playoffs with Lindenwood-Belleville making it as an “at-large” team. This season will be the last one for the Lynx as the university has announced closure of the Belleville campus and all affiliated sports.
Immediately after that game will be a “crossover” game against current SCRC Division Two leaders, Middle Tennessee State. The Blue Raiders are top of the pile after three games but two have those wins have come by way of forfeit. MTSU played host to the Wildcats last season as the visitors came away with a 59-5 win. The Blue Raiders will be hoping for a better showing today.

While Middle Tennessee State are members of the SCRC both games today are classed as non-conference games for league standing purposes.
